This is what happends with a proline performance transmission on 4s. There are options though, the HD transmission (part number 6261-00) includes the metal gear diff case, or if you already have the all metal geartrain, the metal gear diff case (part number 6261-01) is available separately.
Now for speed runners, make sure that you use a really thick grease in the differential to help keep the power even to the rear when pushing for tripple digits.
